THE HURT PUNCH
Known throughout most of his career as the HEART PUNCH, Ox Baker's Special Move invoked fear into the hearts of his opponents.
Originated by wrestler Stan Stasiak, Ox adopted the move into his own repertoire. The fact that two wrestlers died in the ring against Baker only added to the move's notorious reputation.
Not only was the move outlawed in certain states, but also at one point in the early seventies caused Ox Baker to be banned from T.V.
In fact use of the punch could cause you to be Disqualified, something that happened to Baker and Stasiak more then once.
The maneuver brought Terror to Ox Baker's already Lethal ring arsenal and helped establish his now classic Bad Guy Image.
Ox Baker out of respect for Stan Stasiak would latter change the HEART PUNCH to the HURT PUNCH.
